I'm sure that CS has a fair amount of analytics in the curriculum, but I would make sure you have a sound foundation in statistics. These concepts and algorithms are at the heart of Data Science. Learn Python - #1 data science tool. From there I would study Predictive analytics (Supervised, Unsupervised, and Re-enforcement Learning). Overall, I would look for opportunities to develop use cases. Employers want to see a demonstration of knowledge and skill application. Do not only show what you know but what you can do! Good Luck.
