Ibrahim I. asked a question to Linda K.
I love this question! Trainees have varying experiences based on their own perceptions; however, we try our best to make all trainees feel welcomed and included. You are allowed to bring your authentic self into work, challenge the status quo, and make an impact. For example, in Canada, our trainees get to work on real, hands-on projects that could impact products on a global level. They have work-life balance, flexibility, and autonomy, and on the flip side are able to join a community of other students to support one another. They have one-on-one mentors, coffee and connects, lunch and learn sessions, info sessions, and the opportunity to become student ambassadors and join fun social events such as volleyball and basketball games, or ping pong. But the life of a trainee doesn't stop there, even once you graduate you are part of the alumni where you will have the opportunity to keep in touch with Nokia - be able to obtain scholarships, first priority for new grad positions, etc.
