André G. asked a question to Casey C.
Hello André G.,
This will be a long list... so let me share some highlights! :)
I've been working on the evolution from WCDMA (3G) to LTE (4G) to NR (5G) - basically seeing Nokia's RAN technology change over the years. Each generation has its own challenges, but it's cool seeing requirements become actual working networks.
Right now, I'm doing software architecture. This means working with multiple teams and components. What's exciting? Everything is connected - one small decision can affect the whole system.
I'm also part of Nokia's O-RAN delegation. This keeps me updated with industry standards and how they're implemented.
About collaboration - that's the best part. Working with different teams - hardware, software, testing. You always learn something new from these discussions.
