Moreover, I would like to know about the roles within Nokia that are particularly suited for individuals at the start of their professional journey.
Hi,
At Nokia, one of the programs we have is the Refer-a-Friend Global Employee Referral Program. This has been successful for the past few years.
Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your reply. I'm inquiring on behalf of individuals at the start of their careers, those with less than a year of experience, or recent college graduates. Many of these individuals may not know a current employee at Nokia and thus lack a referral. Additionally, I've observed that there appear to be no roles listed on the career page suitable for entry-level applicants.
hi @Lindsey S. , @Remi M. : could you share your insights on Greeshmanth's question?
Hi, sure!
Nokia has a variety of roles for entry-level professionals. There are many programs for students, for example a "working student" position during which students can both work and study. There are also summer internships where students can get experience during vacation. Moreover, there are many positions for graduates.
Please visit Nokia's website (https://www.nokia.com/about-us/careers/) where you can find all of the career opportunities for young professionals!
On top of programs like internships and referrals that have already been discussed, Nokia also has the "NextGen" program which supports employees in their first couple years at the company after graduation from university. This program includes lunch and learn sessions with leaders in the telecom, network and research fields, opportunities for networking with peers around the world, and the "hack week" which helps you onboard into Nokia within your first week of employment. It also can include in person social events such as game nights, going to sports games together, and even a Halloween costume contest! You can learn more about NextGen and other early career initiatives at https://www.nokia.com/about-us/careers/student-and-graduate-opportunities/
