Toshan J. asked a question to András L.
I just applied to a robotics intern position and I would like to know more about the robotics work in nokia and how exactly does nokia use robots.
Nokia actively integrates AI with robotics, particularly within its industrial automation and private wireless network solutions. This integration enables advanced capabilities such as predictive maintenance, autonomous navigation, and real-time quality control for robotic systems operating in various enterprise environments. Robotics fits into Nokia's overall strategy by leveraging its private 5G/6G networks to connect and manage these intelligent machines, enhancing operational efficiency and safety for its customers. While factory automation is a significant application, Nokia's use of robotics extends beyond manufacturing to include sectors like logistics, ports, and smart cities.
