Let me explain:
It's a well known fact that Nokia provides very good refferal amount for any openings/vacancies to their employees.
Let suppose, any random team/project has few openings and me and you belongs to the same team/project.
Ma and you have refered 1-1 resume to our manager to schedule interview of our referrals.
Now as a part of same team, If I will get a chance to interview your candidate, what do you think whether I am going to select your candidate or reject so that my referral will have more chance to get selected and I will get rewarded with the referral amount.
Or what is the probability, that you may give fair input to the manager regarding the interview feedback?
What I believe, in such cases people always put first about their earnings and not bother about the interview result or others career.
People may always in a position to reject each others candidatures just to make their win probability high to earn the referral amount.
What is your opinion for this type of hiring environment?
