Hi Nick! Good to see your interest in Machine Learning. To really get into it, I would suggest first going deep into mathematics and physics! Machine Learning models and any surrounding computational methods rely on maths, but also techniques like Diffusion Models are directly related to Heat theory and Thermodynamics, hence Physics plays a key role in them.
