That's impressive! Here's what I'd highlight for Nokia SWE roles:
- Technical expertise - Your SW development experience, code writing, and experience with testing (like unit tests) and code reviews, are valuable. Nokia values good development practices.
- Cross-team collaboration - We work across multiple components and teams. Any examples of coordinating between different systems or teams would be valuable.
- Problem-solving skills - Telecom systems are complex with many interdependencies, similar to the large-scale systems you've worked on.
Don't worry too much about not knowing telecom specifics (but if you do, I'm sure it's a plus!) - Nokia provides onboarding training. Focus on showing your strong engineering foundation and willingness to learn the domain.
