Hi Jackie,
Thank you for asking. Inclusion is part of Nokia's culture, and with this important value we can create an environment where all our people feel, and are, valued and accepted through our everyday actions. Our managers appreciate different points of view because working together by embracing our diversity is what makes us stronger than the sum of our parts.
Hi, Jackie,
At Nokia we are very proud of our inclusive leadership culture, and our essentials also reflect this, with the foundations in an original value, Respect.
When it comes to leadership development, we also emphasize behaviours important to shape an inclusive leadership style : we have a Navigating Bias training for all Nokia leaders, we have mandatory training on Ethics, which also strengthens diversity and inclusion, and in all such trainings leaders have the opportunity to become more aware of different cultures.
We recently introduced the Culture Wizard, helping leaders and employees become more culturally aware, and in many workshops and trainings we also highlight ways of using an inclusive-supportive leadership style by listening more, strong collaboration, better understanding of the team and so forth.
Thank you both for your responses! It's great to see how Nokia leaders really get involved in putting diversity in place.
