I have 3 years of experience in the telecom field
Hi Abhinav C., thank you for your interest in joining Nokia! You will find some useful hints in the related questions section. Bertrand M. and Sam S. would you have any recommendations for Abhinav?
Hi there! You can find all our open jobs at www.nokia.com/careers and apply from there. Follow us on social media also (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Glassdoor). This week we are showcasing at Mobile World Congress some very cool 5G innovations:)
Hi Thakkar, are you specifically looking for those areas?
Hello Thakkar, thank your for your interest. May I know your college's name?
Hi Thakkar, you can find the Nokia open positions on the website: www.nokia.com/careers. We are focussed on the open positions in IT, but you can have a look if any open position in R&D might fit your profile and expectations
Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering
FYI, Nokia is tied up with a list of Tier1, Tier2 & Tier 3 institutes. For Freshers, we usually make a visit based on business need. If your college is registered in Nokia, we will consider your candidature basis merit. As mentioned above by Martine, please go through our career site and apply against the relevant open positions.
My college is not part of the list of colleges, how can I apply then?
Hello Thakkar, you can still apply and we shall keep pool campus at times based on business need.
Ok I will wait for them. Thanks!
Hi Abhinav,
In my view, the best way to prepare for a hiring process is to find your 'why' and put it on paper. Thinking about and writing down why you are applying for a job can really help to structure all the thoughts that circle in the head, as well as make a mental check of where you are, where you want to develop and what you want to achieve. This activity alone can bring a lot of confidence to navigate the hiring process.
The best advice I can give is to be yourself. Nothing brings more stress about the upcoming interview than worrying how to answer specific questions or present yourself better.
I am a computer science grad (2018). Are there any strategy analyst jobs open now? Can I at least apply for an internship for that specific role?
Thank you for your interest, however we would like to review your candidature. Have you already gone through our Career Page www.nokia.com/careers and applied against the suitable position?
Hello Abhinav,
It’s important to know about the company, try to arrive early to the building of the interview, you’ll never know if you will waste time in the parking lot or the elevator, get well dressed and if they ask you to bring documents please do it. You can check our profiles in https://careers.nokia.com/
¡Good Luck!
Hi;
It is great that you have LTE experience. It is very useful and mandatory in many departments.
If as "5G Core" you understand 5G Core Network - (ex. AMF), there is a team in Finland in charge of it. If they have open positions, you can apply.
If "5G Core" is wider term for you, including connection between 5G phone and base station, base stations itself, antenna issues, communication between 5G network elements, security, IoT, then you have many possibilities in many locations. All positions called "5G integration/verification/hardware/software/test engineer" are related to 5G network.
Hi there, to complete on Kamil's answer, pls find the direct link to our open jobs in Mobile Networks in our 3 sites in Finland: https://careers.nokia.com/page/opportunities-in-finland-for-mobile-networks-372
