If you are a fresher with knowledge of CCNA and AWS Cloud Solution Architect, getting into Nokia is very much possible, but it requires the right positioning and approach.

First, it’s important to understand that Nokia operates in areas such as telecom networks, IP routing, cloud-native solutions, 5G, and digital infrastructure. Your CCNA background provides a strong foundation in networking (routing, switching, protocols, troubleshooting), which is highly relevant to roles in network engineering, NOC, IP/transport networks, and core networks. Your AWS Cloud Solution Architect knowledge complements this by giving you exposure to cloud architecture, virtualization, VPC networking, high availability, and hybrid cloud models, which are increasingly used in modern telecom environments.

As a fresher, you should aim for entry-level or graduate roles, such as:

    • Graduate / Junior Network Engineer
    • NOC or Technical Support Engineer
    • Cloud Support Engineer
    • Associate Cloud Engineer
    • Graduate roles in telecom or IP networks

    To improve your chances:

    • Focus on hands-on practice: build small AWS projects, labs, and networking simulations.
    • Clearly link your skills to real use cases (e.g., how cloud supports telecom systems, monitoring, or scalability).
    • Apply through Nokia graduate programs, internships, and entry-level job postings.
    • Be prepared to show a learning mindset, curiosity, and willingness to grow in telecom technologies.
    • Finally, don’t position yourself only as “certified.” Position yourself as someone who understands networking, cloud basics, and how they fit into large-scale infrastructure, which is exactly the environment Nokia operates in.

Hope I was able to help you :)
