I appreciate your confidence on your functional knowledge and capabilities. We do evaluate on certain competencies that are required for each role and of course your self-confidence as mentioned above are one of the competencies. There are various competency we look when we hire for certain role but not limited to one (performance). For example, Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving or Living by Ethics.
