Nokia entities around the world hire quite a number of people from other countries, given that the skills and requirements are a good match.
Local HR and campus teams here in Finland do support new joiners with onboarding and introduction sessions. This is to help get new hires settled into the Nokia life, whether it be local or international new joiners. Of course, like with any relocation to a new country, a lot of pro-activity and independent networking is recommended from the individual as well to make their stay in the new location as pleasant as possible.
Here in Finland we have communities such as the Nokia Young Professionals which support particularly employees who are at the beginning of their working careers to make new friends and find like-minded colleagues. This group has proven to be very helpful also for our new international hires.
