I often reflect on my early days when I first joined the company. Having originally graduated as a high school teacher, adapting to a tech-driven environment like Nokia was a significant transition for me. Based on my experience, here are three pieces of advice I consider most important:

While it may not always seem as immediately exciting as developing new features, a deep understanding of fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and system design is crucial.
