Oscar V. asked a question to Linda K.
hi Oscar V.,
Nokia has a history of impactful co-op projects, particularly within our research and development arm, Bell Labs and in Environmental, social and governance (ESG). At Bell Labs, Nokia collaborates with interns and co-op students on projects that include advanced research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and 5G development. Some of these projects have addressed challenges like network optimization and sustainable practices, such as reducing energy use in networks. Our commitment to sustainability allows us to create broader initiatives to build environmentally responsible solutions in telecommunications and has led to projects that are often scaled to address larger technological and ecological challenges within Nokia's ecosystem.
We provide impactful projects that allow students to engage in real-world applications which support both local and global digital infrastructure, making student-driven projects a key part of our innovation strategy.
Maybe you'll be our next Co-op?
Hello Sandrine,
Thank you for sharing this insight into Nokia’s co-op program. It’s truly impressive to see the scope of projects at Bell Labs and how Nokia integrates advanced research with a focus on sustainability. The emphasis on real-world applications, especially in AI, machine learning, and 5G, aligns perfectly with my interests and career goals. I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to projects that tackle critical challenges like network optimization and energy efficiency.
I would love to learn more about how I can get involved and potentially become a part of this innovative team.
