Ruth S. asked a question to Kelly W.
I am personally interested in software engineering and machine learning, but I often find myself overwhelmed with the constant stream of new research, methods, and discoveries. How do you navigate this without burning out and still managing to stay current on news in your area of research?
Thank you for this question. My favorite way to keep myself informed is through twitter; I follow many ML and CV researchers and they always advertise their new work on twitter which often times sparks a good discussion. Social media can be quite useful when it comes to self driven learning, a couple of good follows on youtube and twitter go a long way! It makes learning fun as well.
