Simon U. asked a question to Steve T.
Simon, thanks for the question. There is an emerging discipline, although the concept has been around for a long time - “Data Literacy or Data Fluency”. I think that being data literate of the critical skills that everyone today needs. It's the ability to work with, analyze and communicate with data. Two companies – Qlik and Tableau have free Data Literacy content. I would recommend either. Note that even if you have a data background, you can still improve your Data Literacy skills. Perhaps you can perform advanced analytics, but you still have to communicate the results. I really think Data Literacy is for everyone. If you have a few minutes here is a short article I wrote on the topic. https://lnkd.in/diFsKiKk
