I don't have experience with OSPF and BHP but I assume that there might be common challenges including handling route convergence delays, scalability issues, and route flapping. These are resolved by optimizing timers, using route dampening, hierarchical design (e.g., OSPF areas), and careful policy/configuration tuning.
