Thank you for asking.
A typical day for a Product Line Manager (PLM) at Nokia is mostly cross-functional and involves close coordination between customers, R&D, pre-sales, and Customer teams. They track product development against the roadmap, work with R&D teams to assess feasibility of new requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with market needs.
PLMs actively support pre-sales activities by providing technical inputs for RFPs, clarifying product capabilities, and helping position the product effectively against competition. They also gather customer feedback and market insights to drive product enhancements and future roadmap planning. PLMs are regularly meeting and guiding our key customers for a unified view of the future.
Overall, they are responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment while ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demand.
I hope this was useful. I wish you the best.
