Srihari Y. asked a question to Vilmos M.
Dear Srihari,
Thank you for your interesting question!
For me, the most exciting project I've been fortunate to work on is Nokia's Core SaaS initiative (https://www.nokia.com/core-networks/5g-core/core-saas/). Our team is focused on deploying Nokia's Core Network solutions on public cloud infrastructure, emphasizing automation. What makes this particularly exciting is that we get to work with cutting-edge technologies and principles like Crossplane and GitOps. It's an environment where I truly feel I can learn something new every day.
Coming from an IT background, what I find uniquely fascinating is the sheer scale of telecommunications software deployments. While I can't share specific details, the challenges of operating at the telco scale are both humbling and exciting. Finding solutions to these complex scaling challenges, while maintaining reliability and performance, provides constant opportunities for innovation and growth.
