It is hard to select one crucial skill that every Computer Science student should learn before entering the job market. Nevertheless, I will try to do my best and select the most important one!


The ability to collaborate and effectively communicate is a vital skill. Being able to work harmoniously in a team, communicate ideas in a clear way and understand diverse point of views are as important as technical skills.

In order to learn these skills I suggest mastering effective communication, both written and verbal - it can be done in many ways, for instance joining a community, NGO or an academic club in your university, where you could focus on your soft skills.

I keep my fingers crossed for your journey at the university!
