I'd like to learn about the kind of research going on at Nokia Bell Labs in my areas of interest. I love legacy systems and computer architecture. My past industrial experience has been in mechanical engineering design, process improvement, data analysis, and controls. I'm now following my passion of computing and studying computer engineering at Rutgers University during my free time after work. I'd love to hear what people in my new chosen field of study are currently researching, and would like to start putting my classroom learning into practice as soon as I can. Any advice for transitioning from another technical field into computer engineering would be appreciated as well!
NOKIA is a global-wide company, we had global collaboration cross locations, there are >90% of projects comprise of global teams.
Both R&D in China and the U.S. covered wide scope for different business groups, such as Mobile Network, IP Optical Networks, Bell Labs, etc. For more information, you could visit the link:

hi Man Wing F., check also our page related to our 5G customer projects. https://www.nokia.com/networks/5g/5g-in-action/. You'll find details on current projects for the US and China.
Hello, and thank you for your question.
I will try to answer your question in the best way because the projects in my team are not similar to your interests. C is a useful language that can be applied to implement software features on devices. When I say devices, I mean gateway devices and WiFi modems that can be used to cover wireless Internet access.
In other words, I think you can find a lot of C projects in Nokia. Through them, you can learn many new things and expand your already existing knowledge.
You should also keep in mind that the tasks you may take on are related to your already previous experience and existing skills.
Finally, I think it's a good idea to perform a first search yourself on the Nokia careers page to explore all the job opportunities that might suit your interests and technical capabilities. Follow the link below for more information.
