Taylor M. asked a question to Remi M.
I’m currently studying CS at NJIT and aiming to become a MLE. Nokia’s legacy in both hardware and cutting-edge network tech is super inspiring to me. I was wondering if you had any advice for someone looking to break into roles like yours or start a career at Nokia. Any tips would mean a lot!
Hi Taylor!
I built my foundation through hands-on projects and internships that focused on real-world problem solving. At Nokia, collaboration, adaptability, and tackling practical challenges really helped me thrive.
Since you're studying CS and aiming for an MLE role, I'd recommend sharpening your Python and ML skills, and looking for internships that offer exposure to large-scale systems.
Also, staying curious about telecom is a great advantage — it’s exciting to see where the industry is heading.
Best of luck, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!
