I don't have specific experience with Mechanical CAD Drafting, but allow me to share some common qualities that make people stand out in their first 6-12 months, regardless of their role.

• First, being eager to learn and asking the right questions, they don't hesitate to ask when they're unsure - they'd rather clarify early than make assumptions.
• Second, taking ownership of their work. Even as new employees, taking responsibility for their tasks and successfully completing the task.
• Third, building good relationships with their team - good collaboration, connecting well with colleagues. There's an African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together."
