Rahul R. asked a question to Rana M.
I am a fresher
Hi Rahul, great to connect with you on Insider, and that’s an excellent question!
At Nokia, we foster an open and empowering culture where sharing ideas and collaborating freely is encouraged. You’ll also have the chance to engage with diverse stakeholders worldwide, making it a truly enriching experience. When it comes to work-life balance, we take a flexible approach to help ensure a healthy balance for everyone.
I hope that helps!
@Monika M. @András L. @Emre C. - please share your experiences too.
Hi Rahul,
let me give you a quick run down of what a normal workday for me in our Stuttgart office in Germany is like. When I get in in the morning, I usually spend my time between the usual daily doing like preparing documents such as technical presentations or material for customer meetings and doing some studying for certifications or other topics. Learning is quite a big part of Junior Engineer's Daily work!
After lunch with colleagues, I get back to regular work stuff. We often have call with international colleagues since Nokia is an international company with stakeholders all over the world. Finding an appointment that works for across multiple time zones can be quite a challenge 😄.
And after work we usually host our After-work events in Stuttgart which can be anything from a get-together in the office, going to the Christmas market to enjoying the Wasen (Stuttgart's Version of the Oktoberfest).
I hope this gives you a little insight into my typical work day at Nokia.
Cheers
Emre
