Bonny R. asked a question to Rana M.
I heard that unlike other major cities in Asia, Taipei is a largely homogeneous population. They are not used to working with foreigners and as a result, tend to hire locals. I know you are based in Dubai, not Taiwan. Still, your perspective on Nokia's recruitment approach would be insightful!
Hi there Bonny, thanks for reaching out to me on our Insider platform with your question.
Taiwan, has a predominantly Chinese-speaking population. However, job opportunities in the region are open to individuals of all backgrounds, with no specific nationality requirements for most positions. While some roles may have language prerequisites, such as proficiency in Chinese, this is not a universal requirement. Apart from this, there are no significant restrictions on employment.
I hope this information helps.
Kind regards,
Rana
