Varshaa S. asked a question to Rana M.
I've applied to the Software Dev Intern role! I'd like to learn more about the company culture as it is one of the most transformative companies I have come across. We had a Research Scientist give a talk about AI at Nokia at Northwestern University and I grew deeply interested in the company.
Hi Varshaa,
Thanks for your question. It is great to hear that the AI talk at Northwestern sparked your interest in Nokia.
From what I have seen, the biggest trend during the AI revolution is how AI is becoming part of everyday work. Teams are using it to simplify tasks, improve decision‑making, and automate repetitive steps so they can focus on real problem-solving.
Another clear trend is the increase in collaboration. You do not need to be an AI expert to benefit from it. Engineers, designers, product teams, and project managers are all learning how to use AI tools in their own workflows, which creates a very open and learning‑driven culture.
What stands out to me most is the shift toward experimentation and piloting. Teams are encouraged to test ideas, learn quickly, and improve continuously. It makes the environment fast‑moving and supportive, especially for people who enjoy building and learning.
Since you are applying for a Software Dev Intern role, it is a great time to join. You will get exposure to modern tools, hands‑on problem solving, and a culture that values curiosity and initiative.
Best of luck!
