About Aly M.

Current Position
As a Transformation Manager at Nokia, I work at the intersection of technology, operating models, and organizational change, with a strong focus on AI‑enabled transformation at scale under the Keystone program. Keystone is Nokia’s company‑wide initiative to move from fragmented AI experimentation to AI embedded into everyday ways of working across the enterprise. Within System‑on‑Chip (SoC), I have led the SoC Transformation Program, driving process alignment, data‑driven decision‑making, and automation across architecture, modeling, and engineering teams. More recently, my work has focused on AI adoption and value realization within Keystone, including leading enterprise‑scale AI pilots and rollouts, defining core AI change and operating model elements, and establishing adoption and effectiveness metrics to steer action based on real usage and impact rather than tool deployment alone. In parallel, through a strategic job rotation in the Chief People Officer Office, I contributed to the global Performance Management Transformation, shaping how approximately 70,000 employees set goals, give feedback, and develop. Across Keystone, SoC, and people transformation, my role has been to translate strategic ambition into executed change by aligning leadership enablement, frontline adoption, governance, and measurement. This has given me a holistic view of transformation, where technology, ways of working, leadership, and culture must evolve together to deliver sustainable performance.
Main Motivation
What I value most about working at Nokia is the diversity of roles and opportunities to grow. I get to collaborate with professionals across many disciplines, from engineering and product development to leadership and transformation, and every project brings a new learning experience. The culture encourages exploration and personal development. I have had the chance to work with exceptional mentors and coaches who have helped refine my skills and expand my perspective. There is always room to take initiative, try new ideas, and make a real impact. What sets Nokia apart is its combination of global scale and human connection. You can work on cutting-edge technology while being part of a community that truly supports growth, collaboration, and purpose.

Greatest Achievement
I am most proud of delivering measurable impact across two very different but complementary transformation contexts at Nokia: AI‑driven R&D transformation and enterprise‑wide performance transformation. Recent AI transformation impact I led an adoption‑first AI execution across R&D that increased active usage of AI‑supported coding capabilities by approximately 45 percent and drove more than a fivefold increase in AI‑enabled specifications and requirements insights within eight weeks. This unlocked a sustained ~1,160 engineering hours per week, equivalent to roughly 31 engineer‑years annually, achieved with approximately 560 hours of focused, non‑BAU execution effort. The result was a clear shift from AI experimentation to measurable, value‑driven adoption with a return on execution of roughly 100:1. Recent enterprise transformation impact In parallel, I led the strategic rollout of Perform to Win, Nokia’s company‑wide performance management transformation. The initiative established a continuous, data‑driven system for goal alignment, real‑time feedback, and performance differentiation across thousands of employees. Rather than treating performance management as a periodic process, we embedded it as a living operating system that supports clarity, accountability, and development at scale. Across both efforts, the common thread has been turning strategy into durable change by building clear structures, enabling day‑to‑day execution, and reinforcing progress through continuous feedback and leadership accountability.

Hi! What trends have you seen within working at Nokia during the AI revolution?

I've applied to the Software Dev Intern role! I'd like to learn more about the company culture as it is one of the most transformative companies I have come across. We had a Research Scientist give a talk about AI at Nokia at Northwestern University and I grew deeply interested in the company.

Our culture, Culture
