Olakunle F. asked a question to Rana M.
Hi Olakunle,
I hope you’re doing great! Thanks so much for connecting with me on Insider and for your interest in learning more about the application process.
From my experience, one of the most important things when applying is to really dive into the job description. Take time to understand what the role requires and then tailor your CV so it clearly reflects how your skills and experience align with those requirements. This shows recruiters that you’re not just applying broadly, but that you’ve put thought into how you can add value to that specific role.
Another tip: make sure your CV is structured in a way that’s easy to read and impactful. Use strong action verbs like “Managed,” “Achieved,” “Delivered,” or “Led”—these words immediately convey ownership and results. And wherever possible, quantify your achievements.
Finally, think of your CV as your personal story—it should tell your story in a clear, structured manner.
I hope this helps and always here to help:)
Best wishes, Rana
